short talk:
i was playing badminton with a bunch of my ex-biotech skolmate from utar and suddenly mei hoong pop me up with a question asking how long we ald grad?
i was shock, i am in the market for 2 years.
wat have i achieve? besides extra belly on stomach, some wealth in saving/nvestment. full stop (habis, no more)
sit down quitely n ask urself wat u have achieve for past 2 year?
u may growth in wealth, grow in shape, u may grow in knowledge, growth in experience, OR mayb even grow a kids out accidentally..lol
please comment and share wit me :)
i wanna set myslef a growth curve, i wanna c how far or how slow i progress for the past 2 years.

2. your market value is higher now, because have two years working experience, bank saving improved, wiser thought etc
3. you grow mature, and surely more girls attracted to you, because for guys, when get older, get more mature, get more savings, girls will come like bees surround you!

As for me
1. gain half working and study experience at the same time
2. savings improve but soon will be spent in next few months, hv to start from zero again
3. body thinner, skin tanner
4. life is so unfair, guys get mature (aka older), market value higher but girls get mature (i almost 25!), the market value drop badly.

while for me:
As you have seen, 5yrs ago, I set a plan on the wall of my bedroom @ sri rampai hse, and today i achieved what I had mentioned in the previous 5 yrs plan.
I am pleased that I have developed in various factors namely financial, personal, educational, etc growth, which I don't think I have to elaborate here.
I do believe growth depends on various stimuli (apart from pressures from various corners):
A-Personal attitude
1) know what you want and develop a wise, reliable, achievable plan/strategy for it, 2) put plan into action & set up KPIs, see what are the 'success factors/criteria' 3)self-reflect, revise
B)-Friends
Join the right people learn the right thing and do it correctly
C)-Cares & Supports
Motivations from friends & families always drive you move forward
D)-Wishdom
Through reading, sharing and interacting, we are keep on developing as a wise person. Wishdom is the key of growth

u should ask yourself=> wat really u want to achieve? did you think that u waste your past 2 years life over some palia thing? only if you are happy and feel content to your recent life,then that's fine i think,haha!
ReplyDeleteto me,i feel lucky to know my sg piano teacher and current jb music studio boss...i learn a lot not only in music ,but also how to communicate with my customers...hehe..somemore, i feel more confident in myself as a piano teacher...however,i still duno how to express myself with friends..haiz,i think i lose a good friend now...
ok,liang yee kai,live your life to the fullest! think wat you want, and pursue it! my target this year ==> get my piano diploma!argggggggggggghhhhhhhhh...so wat's your target ler? jiayou jiayou!
I may express my achievement in very girly way which i think most ppl will say, this is not an achievement. Perhaps, what is your achievement range anyway?
ReplyDeleteI can paste myself a schedule wrote: bought myself 50 pieces clothes in yr 2010. that's consider an achievement too,rite??
Seriously, I din't achieve many major things these 2 years, besides being 'hiao hiao',keep updating my make up skill, try to do DIY more often, cut my hair short and keep regreting, blog more, play more fb games,tweets,keep on job hunting,try to save $$ to travel...etc. Been really hopes to get a good job (at least good salary than current one) so that i can take make up class :P...
